Walk On

Readers & friends, girls & gents,

The past month has been really hard for me, and it's taken its toll on my health and sanity, but I'm doing my best to fight for life.  I won't give in to despair.  And to all the people out there who are struggling with life issues, please stay strong and don't give up!  Let me share with you a poem that inspires me.  No matter what anyone thinks or says about you, try to find your true voice and sing out to your heart's desire.  However you want to do that is up to you, but sing out.  Nobody can take that away from you.

This is a poem by the great lyricist Oscar Hammerstein:

When you walk through the storm

Hold your head up high,

And don't be afraid of the dark.

At the end of the storm
